Evidox Acquires Anacomp Hosting Operations

September 1st, 2010

Boston, MA – September 1, 2010 – Evidox Corporation, a leading provider of electronic discovery services for law firms and corporate clients, today announced that it has acquired the CaseLogistix hosting operations of Anacomp, Inc.

Evidox was founded in 2006 by James Berriman, a former AmLaw 100 litigator, and Lynn Turgeon, a former AmLaw 100 litigation paralegal. Before founding Evidox, they built and ran the largest in-house litigation technology operation in New England. They founded Evidox because they perceived an urgent need for ediscovery services conducted from the perspective of the litigator rather than the technician.

In 2008, responding to client requests, Evidox began to provide secure online hosting of ediscovery databases through its wholly-owned subsidiary Turndox LLC. Evidox initially chose CaseLogistix due to its attorney-friendly interface and its ability to scale on large projects. Turndox eventually became the largest OEM hosting service built on that platform.

In 2010, Anacomp sold the rights to CaseLogitix to Thompson Reuters / West. In connection with the sale, Evidox acquired from Anacomp its existing hosting operations on the CaseLogistix platform.

“We are pleased and proud that Anacomp offered us the opportunity to acquire their CaseLogistix hosting operations,” said Mr. Berriman. “We look forwarding to serving our new hosting customers and adding them to the Evidox family.”
